To get the gist of how much stuff I was planning on bringing, I just did a trial run of Nate’s clothes/shoes…
Down Jacket
Rain Coat
Fleece Jacket
6 tees (one long-sleeved)
3 pants (one zips to shorts)
2 shorts
6 socks
6 underwearswimsuit/shirtPJ
pants
Flip Flop
Keen Sandals
I managed to squeeze all that into very small rolling luggage which fits under most airline seats in the US. This is the new version of it, which I highly recommend for US travel. I couldn’t get his regular shoes in, but that wont’ really factor anyway as he will wear those on planes.
We won’t be bringing luggage with wheels as it is too unwieldy (unwheeldy?) for many countries with no ramps or elevators or that are full of cobblestones!

So kids will have wheels but you’ll have bags that you carry? I love that ll bean under the seat bag. This packing list is my dream capsule wardrobe for my life. Off to the closet for a purge. 😀
